Parents are struggling to feed their children. Hospitals are overwhelmed or no longer functioning. Entire communities are at risk of famine. This isn’t just a headline, its daily life for millions of people. They need urgent support. Due to a lack of clean water is causing diseases to break out, while vaccination coverage is falling, so that children are no longer protected against diseases. Sexual violence and recruitment by armed groups is on the rise. Despite the dangers, UNICEF continues to provide aid also to the people who have fled to neighbouring countries.
